LE MANS FOOTBALL CLUB
Le Mans Football Club, abbreviated as Le Mans FC, is a French football club founded in 1985 and based in Le Mans, in the Sarthe region. Previously playing at Stade Léon-Bollée until 2011, Le Mans Métropole inaugurated the Stade Marie-Marvingt on May 26, 2023, managed by Le Mans Stadium, a subsidiary of the Vinci group. This is a multi-event stadium with a capacity of 25,000 seats, located at the heart of Le Mans’ sports excellence hub, which spans 1,000 hectares and includes the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, Bugatti and Alain Prost (karting) circuits, Antarès arena, a racecourse, a velodrome, and a golf course. The La Pincenardière site hosts the administrative and sports center of Le Mans FC. Inaugurated in June 2008, the complex includes four training pitches (including one synthetic) and a gym. It also brings together the club’s administrative services in a 1,000 m² facility featuring an auditorium, a clubhouse, and a ticketing/shop area. The audit conducted on April 20, 2026, by a Fair Play For Planet expert enabled discussions with club representatives regarding their CSR policy, the importance of an environmental approach, and the steps to achieve it.
