Ice hockey emerged in Angers in 1982 with the foundation of the ASGA club, known today as the Ducs d’Angers.

The club was born in the Haras ice rink, where it quickly climbed the ranks and joined the top level of the French ice hockey championship. The rink ultimately closed its doors in 2019 after 37 years of existence.

The new “Angers ICEPARC” ice rink opened its doors in September 2019 and became the new home of the Ducs d’Angers. With a capacity of 3,600 seats and equipment designed for player development and technical progression, ICEPARC allows the club to enter a new era.

In 2025, the Ducs d’Angers won the French Cup and reached the championship final after a magnificent season.

The club, driven by SYNERGLACE and the LNH, aims to structure its CSR policy with a focus on environmental initiatives.
